I really LOVE Vegas. BUT- probably in a way most don't. I love a nice hotel, an amazing meal, a cheesy show, the best shopping, and in the season- nice pools! Like, those are all STAPLES in my life... and they are all in ONE place. Granted, after two nights you HAVE.TO.GET.ME.OUT or I will kill someone, but still- I am convinced it's one of my favorite places on earth. YEP. I have traveled the world too.
                                                           So stop making judgments.

None of these outfit choices have been spotted here before..

I feel like an alcoholic who has relapsed and needs a minute after a weekend in Vegas. I wanted to post all my glitzy outfit choices from the weekend on here today, but instead.....

Off to Vegas this weekend to celebrate my best friend being a bride... yep, a bachelorette extravaganza!
This dress was originally purchased with Vegas on the brain, it may or may not make it there- but it really was one of those top notch H&M finds.. $14.95. EEEEK. Should've purchased multiples. Still can.

       I really love the look of a long striped comfy "T-shirt" dress.. I just like the look. Classic. Traditional.

When you have a good photographer, there is no need to edit. This was my favorite of the shoot- because it was just my real self.. my hair was half a mess, I was comfy but stylish - felt good, natural.

I am one of those admittedly creepy old friends who keeps in contact with a huge amount of people - or at least stalks them, and clicks "like" a lot on facebook and cheerleads their successes from afar. Well, I have been following the journey of a lovely girl from Newport (where I grew up) who has been in NY for the last 5 years, now in SF, or shall I say, "bi-coastal", and she couldn't be a more talented photographer.

I know, I know- sometimes I get a little excited. I have to say, I feel like it always works for me though.
Attitude is everything, even when it comes to your wardrobe sistahs! funky- but I dig it. Can you dig it?

I love the juxtaposition of girly spring florals on cut off shorts, and feminine delicate lace on a denim sleeveless top. Spunky.

Well, normally I like to mix some low end pieces with designer staples... but I guess I was in a Forever mood... thank goodness for handbags, right?

Sailin, Take Me Away!

I love anything with a Peter Pan collar, then you go ahead and throw a sailboat on it - SWOON- plus a red, white and blue theme, BOOM..and you basically just won my heart.
                                          This shirt is a winner, I am so grateful for Forever21+. GEM.

Normally, I would advise all of you to almost always wear tailored clothes. Loose, baggy, comfy clothes, are never the most flattering. However, once in awhile, you have to throw "flattering" out the window- in order to rock something you like so much that it quite simply just doesn't matter how it fits. These pants do that for me.. they are like MC Hammer pants-slash-pajama jeans, meets lord knows what..! I cannot seem to take them off, I wear them with dressy shirts, casual shirts, heck..anything!

Happy Hump Day!

it's Wednesday!! I am the fool who never understood the meaning of "happy hump day" until I graduated from college and joined the work force. Now "Hump Day" holds serious clout in my mind, getting over the mid week hump and getting closer to the weekend is of such value to me! Plus, no good TV is ever on late in the week, my DVR exists solely for Monday's!
                                                    ANYWAYS, HAPPY HUMP DAY Y'ALL!!

One Piece Wonder

I am a bathing suit fanatic. Some people have shoe fetishes, I have swim suit fetishes. One piece's are hard to find, and this is a good one. Once again, OLD NAVY!!! Summer is fast approaching! THANK THE LORDY FOR THAT! Everyone looks bettah with a tan! Can I get an AMEN to that one?!
