Don't forget that saying. I truly believe everything comes full circle. THAT APPLIES TO FASHION. Word to my plus size sistahs: Vintage shop- lots of gems to be found... ELASTIC WASTES were very common way back when.. and stretchy wins when it comes to biggger sizes!! I found a new Vintage store I was hot for, they had lots of Chanel on consignment, which always tickles my fancy!

I keep escaping to the desert for the weekend. When in the desert, I dress in theme. Either resort wear, or hippie dippy, bohemian, type outfits. Think coachella festival wear, or old lady in retirement on a cruise ship gear. Those are my two desert styles. Go with it.

Except, it's still March. AND, the flowers are in full bloom, and it's currently raining. Oh, weather.
I love this dress, I love all long dresses. Some people think too much fabric just isn't flattering, and it may not be, but I still rock them. This one is current from Old Navy, looks expensive and so comfortable. RUN. and. GET. IT. Also comes in a blue hue for those of you non pinkies.

Let's get this out in the open, I love whales. YA, YA.. I am one, but really... I freak for them. I could whale watch for hours and hours and be that girl who is SO excited when they spot a spout and a tail. They are all encompassing to me. POWERFUL CREATURES. NOW, years ago my Mommy took us on a backstage tour at SeaWorld, and I had been traumatized ever since. I strongly disliked seeing the animals in their little tanks "back stage". So, as a big ol' 26 year old I ventured back... and I was pleasantly surprised with what I found! I recommend a visit to y'all. Keep an open mind!

Workout Wardrobe.

As I begin to get back into the workout routine, and making an absolute point of hittin' the gym or being active daily, I realize, I need a full blown second wardrobe for this. I have a lot of workout gear, but these days, you need "outfits".  I am ready to invest.

I am one chubby bunny who is just so happy that Rachel Pally carries plus-size options.

BECAUSE, clingy soft cotton is not attractive and so squeezing into a regular Large doesn't look so hot..

However, with her extended size options, I can rock my soft cotton all day long!

At The End of Every Rainbow!

There is a pot of gold! One of my best friends Alayna was in San Diego visiting from Dallas, so my husband and I went down there for the weekend. AND, it was Alayna's birthday, which she shares with the luck of the Irish! It was raining cats and dogs.. I was hoping for a rainbow, would be so cliche', in the best way possible of course!

basketball wives.

I have never seen the show 'basketball wives' but I have been to enough games that I can only imagine. Anyways, it is always hard for me to rally after work and the gym.. but last night I was actually glad to have gone. I threw on comfy clothes and ran out the door. I had missed spending time on weeknights with friends, thanks for joining us Morgan and Joel! ADVENTURES!

The Blues'

On the contrary I have been feeling amazing.. I have some color from my weekend in the desert, I have been going to the gym EVERY DAY, I have been focusing on ME. However, the blog and my relationships might be paying the toll... but I strongly believe, you have to be the best you, and put your best foot forward to everyone and everything in your life.. I will be there soon! In the meantime, here are some pictures from the tennis tournament the other night, the 5th largest tourney in the world. Mid-Week-Pick-me-Up.

I need to remind myself to push through. Rewards await. This past weekend I had the nicest Sunday. It was literally 80+ outside, in early March!!! AMAZING!!! These pictures were taken on a phone however, they should be shared for multiple reasons- #1. I was dressed in theme to eat brunch at the Yacht Club. #2. It is always good to remind yourself of things/moments that make you happy. #3. I am too lazy to take pictures today of my outfit. It's a good one too. Oh well.

Spring has Sprung!

Bring on the sunshine, the blonde, and the tan. Start wearing florals, putting away knee-high boots, bringing out sandals and ankle boots. This girl.. is one happy camper! I love a change in season, of course living in Southern California they are mild shifts, which is even better for the wardrobe.. functionality!!

Staples

Certain things are staples in our lives.

People, wardrobe items, restaurants, activities, holidays, vacations spots, etc.

Well, this dinner was a true stand still. 

We went to La Scala and all five of us ordered chopped salads, 

the company was great as well. 

My favorite friend/fraternity brother of my husbands,

 along with my roommate from when we studied abroad in Prague and her friend who lives in LA, 

whom I adored. What are the odds?

I am a tough crowd. 

Moral of the story, of course, I wore a pashmina I bought in Prague..themed.
