In Uniform

Once in a blue moon you get a piece of clothing that you just know is going to stick with you for the long haul. I think we all have 5-10 items that get recycled and thrown on endlessly, no matter how large your wardrobe is. This top I just know is going to be one them, these jeans have been for me as well. I call this - le uniform. No matter what age or what size I am, I will probably wear outfits similar to this one.

Stripes+PolkaDots

I love navy blue+black together and I love polka dots+stripes together. It is what it is, I probably wear pearls in their off season as well and I believe in winter white jeans and not only wearing them in the summer..I was just never good at rules - hence: 'Eat Cake For Breakfast'.

Animalistic

I have a thing for animal prints (see previous post) and I love furs, SORRY PETA.

Fruity!

I have told you before leopard is like a solid color to me. I have an affinity for jumpsuits (against my Mother's advice that is)...this one is a winner, in my book. Light+airy and long enough in the torso! Sidenote: have you ever purchased the fruit from the "fruit cart man" on the streets of LA? I have. Regularly. I suggest if you are in town, you do too!

Sample Size Sixteen Shopping Secret: I peruse the maternity section. Always have. That's my body type. I have then always worried that when (god willing) that day does come that I may need maternity wear, how will it fit when I almost size out of the XL maternity at Target already?

Well my prayers have been answered, a plus maternity line! (for that day when I might need it)
